Bet on World First Shadowlands
The new expansion of World of Warcraft Shadowlands has come and the race to world first has begun.
Time to take a bet with your friends on which guild will make it to world first!
World first in World of Warcraft is essentially the achievement given to the guild/raid which completes all bosses on mythic difficulty the fastest. World first is a huge event in the landmark of the expansion bringing a large number of viewers to sit through the experience with their favourite streamers as they face an mentally testing task.
Castle Nathria
The first of multiple raids yet to be released in shadowlands features 10 grueling bosses with “Sire Denathrius” being the final boss of the raid.
Each of the bosses have a number of tasks needed to be executed in swift succession in order to avoid bad mechanics from the boss and essentially save the group from wiping (dying).
The bosses have already been defeated last week by the guilds on heroic difficulty, presuming that they have skipped normal difficulty in order to get the strongest gear they can possibly get, in order to have their character be at the best possible performance that they can be at for the push through mythic.
A History of World Firsts
World firsts have been a relatively good battle between EU & US, with the most recent world first winners being Complexity Limit (US) who downed the final boss of the last expansion Battle for Azeroth’s N’Zoth the Corruptor on 06/02/20.
Many moments have guilds wiped with only 1% health left on the boss, making this achievement such a major feat of strength. The raid is divided up into multiple bosses and the team which downs the last boss may not have been the first team to down all of the previous bosses first.
