Italy vs Belgium Game Predictions in the Women’s Volleyball European Championship 2021
The last time these two sides met each other was on June 20, 2021 at the 2021 FIVB nations league. Belgium won the game 3-2.
Even though Italy looks like the better team and has put in an impressive performance in the championship so far we think the bookmakers are underestimating Belgium.
Belgium has beaten Russia as we mentioned earlier which is a much stronger team than Italy and they have the caliber to beat Italy, albeit by fine margins.
Keep in mind that Belgium faced very tough opponents in the group stage while Italy faced very mediocre teams.
That being said, we expect Italy to win by 3-1 or 3-2. We wouldn’t be surprised if Belgium beats Italy either.
Italy vs Belgium in the Women’s Volleyball European Championship 2021 Betting tips
We don’t recommend you to put a match winner bet on Italy because the payout would be very low. For example if you place a $10 bet on Italy to win you will only get back $10.91.
Based on our predictions you could opt to put in a match a small winner bet for Belgium because the odds are very good for them and even if they are the underdogs they do have a fighting chance.
Another option could be a low risk but medium payout one. This involves creating a combo bet with these betting options:
- Italy to win
- Total points Over 165.5. (usually around 45 total points are scored per set and because there is a good chance Belgium could take the game into a 4th set, that means we can reasonably expect around 180 points)
